About Village Bakery & Cafe:
We are a local food business based on the regenerative economy. We focus on local ingredients, organic and fair trade products, and conservation practices for all three unique eatery locations in Athens.
Village Bakery & Cafe is our main campus, with a bakery, restaurant, and attached food, gift, craft beer and wine market. With solar panels across our roof, and a geothermal heating and cooling system, we are serious about taking responsibility for our own energy impact.
Next door is Della Zona (Italian for”from the region”), home of our wood-fired oven. It’s where we bake all our breads and many other goodies, and on Friday we open DZ’s doors to the public for Pizza Night (byob)!
Across town we operate Catalyst Cafe, a fair trade organic espresso cafe, with snacks and smoothies as well as outstanding Ridge Runner locally roasted coffee.
