Denmark’s largest utility, SEAS-NVE, recently held a worldwide “Energy Services of the Future – Disrupting the energy consulting business” contest. The goal was to identify new, innovative solutions that they could use across Denmark to help customers save energy. A hundred solutions were submitted and considered.
We are thrilled to announce that Green Impact Campaign’s submission was selected as one of three winners!
Our solution focused on our model to empower students to help local, small businesses find ways to save energy through our energy assessment platform, GEMS.
Here’s what the Jury had to say about GIC in their announcement:
“Green Impact showed us that there are ways to scale energy consulting for SMEs with a partial digital solution. The idea relies on a tested business model, that offers both lead generation as well as branding and recruitment elements. We see great potential for learning and cooperating with the team behind Green Impact Campaign.”
We’re trying to play it cool, but we’re pretty freakin’ excited about the potential of expanding GIC to Denmark and working with SEAS.
Congratulations and thanks to all of the volunteers and small businesses that have shown just how impactful this model can be.
