We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the California-based solar company, Sungevity, to provide free solar quotes and discounted solar systems to our participating small businesses.
Starting this summer, any California-based small business that receives a free energy assessment from a GIC student volunteer will have the opportunity to receive a free solar quote from Sungevity, if interested. The free quote will be provided by Sungevity’s team of consultants and will provide the business owner with a personalized solar solution from many flexible payment plans.
But wait, there’s more.
For any business that decides to install a solar system, Sungevity will provide a $1,500 discount on the system to the business for being involved with Green Impact Campaign – as well as make a $1,500 donation to GIC!
This partnership is part of our continued effort to provide the best free energy saving resources and tools to small businesses so they can better manage their energy use and environmental impact.

ABOUT GREEN IMPACT CAMPAIGN
Green Impact Campaign (GIC) is on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of small business while better equipping the next generation of climate leaders. We provide university students across the country with cloud-based tools and training to go out and conduct free energy assessments for local, small businesses in their community. Small businesses receive the custom, actionable information they need to make their business more energy efficiency and profitable. While student volunteers receive professional skills through hands-on experience for future impact careers.
Kilowatt Smackdown is our regional competition series where we select one community, town, or city to focus on. We work closely with local universities and partner organizations in the community to host an impactful and exciting sustainability initiative.
